No experience in Beauty Parlour Course NVQ Level
by Emma Nicell
(Newcastle upon tyne )
Hello, I have only a qualification in eye brow tint, shape, eyelash tint and flare lashes. Would i benefit from this course if I have no other level 2 qualification in regards with Beauty. I have the opportunity to go to college however it is more than double the price which I have to pay out of my own money as I am older than the people who get it for free. I'm torn between doing this or college for my level 2 or doing courses separately when I can afford them as I work in a new salon where i could adminitor these straight away. Please, any opinion/help would be greatly appreciated
We teach NVQ VTCT Level 2 meaning our certificate is from VTCT and we follow their guidelines. The qualification is an NVQ meaning that it is accepted throughout the United Kingdom, you can easily receive insurance and work as a therapist. Personally I would recommend doing the course fully in one go as it may seem expensive but in the long run is cheaper as for single units we charge £695 per unit.
The level 2 NVQ Diploma in Beauty Therapy General (QCF) is a job ready qualification based on national occupational standards for Beauty therapy. This qualification will provide you with the requisite knowledge and understanding plus skills required to work competently as a beauty therapist.
This course will provide you with an internationally recognised qualification, enabling you to carry out a wide range of treatments on clients.
This qualification will enable you to work in Beauty salons, Spas, Freelance/Mobile therapist, Consultant or you can open up your own salon and become a specialist in your chosen area or expertise.
