What Will You Learn in Qualifi Level 4 Certificate in Laser and Intense Pulse Light qualification?

This qualification will teach you the clinical, technical and interpersonal skills to perform laser treatment on a client.

You'll learn how lasers work, what's involved in their use during treatments, how to administer these treatments correctly and safely as well as understanding legislation and safety procedures governing the supply of equipment for both medical or beauty purposes.

As part of your training, you will study both cosmetic and medical applications of lasers, including the anatomy of hair removal in men and women.

Course Structure

The Qualifi level 4 qualification covers all theory and practicals during class time. All beauty therapy students must be willing to participate and take part in the classes' assessments. Our online e-portfolio is a requirement for self-study; however, you can arrange your models for assessment purposes if needed.

Course Duration

There are two options available for this course depending on your experience with Lasers/IPL:

Option 1

6 weeks held 4 consecutive days:

The course is very intense and meant for experienced beauty therapists who have worked with lasers and have at least a Level 2/3 qualification.

Option 2

6 weeks held once a week or 8 weeks once a week:

This course is excellent for someone who would like a bit more practical experience. This is a slightly slower pace than 4 consecutive days.
