Level 3 in beauty therapy part time

by Ruth Porobo Dessai
(Wembley)

I have one diploma in facials, manicure, pedicure, waxing, make up, level 3 in, hairdressing, can I do level 3 in beauty? I have 20 years experience in this field

Reply Hi Ruth,

I understand you have a diploma in facial, manicure, pedicure, waxing and makeup. Now, is this diploma city guild? VTCT? Or another awarding body, which is recognized?

If it is, then you can go on to do the level 3, but I do need to check your qualifications, so if it's possible for you to just email me a copy of your certificates and I can actually let you know if these are not CPD points and that they are a diploma that we can actually transfer you staight to NVQ beauty level 3.

If you've got 20 years experience in the field and the qualifications you hold are not an actual level 2 and it's not recognized you can easily fast-track a level 2 qualification, because we do take experience into consideration. But before I can actually make any comments on your situation is it possible for you to email me a copy of what your certificates are, and I can get the course to you to have a look and confirm if you can move on to the level 3.

I look forward to hearing from you

How Much is The NVQ Level 3 Beauty Therapy Course Fees?

by Amanda
(London)

Good morning, I have just come across this website and I am extremely interested in taking part in the NVQ Level 3 Beauty Therapy a course. The only issue for me is the course fee. I would like to know if it could be possible for me to pay in installments whether it be weekly or monthly.

I hope to hear from you soon thanks.

Reply Hi Amanda

I understand you’re interested in doing the NVQ level 3 courses in beauty therapy, and you’ve got concerns regarding the course fee, and you’re interested in paying in installments.

Okay, if you would like to do the level 3, we would require a 25% deposit 2 weeks prior to the course starting. And then thereafter we can split the remaining into 3 installments.

Or the other option is you can pay it off monthly, and pay the full fee off, and join the next batch once the fee is completed. But the maximum we normally offer is, 25% deposit, and then 4 weeks later you would be paying for the next 25%, and then another 25% and 25% again, and that’s a total of 4 payments that will be due. That is the best we can offer!

The other option of course is you pay for the course up front and once the payment’s been made in full then you can join the class.
I hope this answers your question

Does NVQ Level 3 in Beauty Cover Laser Lipo?

by Shannon
(Coventry)

Hi I'm Shannon.

My question is does the level 3 beauty or advanced beauty cover the laser lipo? if not do you do a course that does?

I'm already level 2 qualified and want to learn pretty much everything else to open my own advanced beauty clinic so would it be better to do the level 3 beauty and the level 4 advanced beauty as this offers all the laser treatments and other treatments instead of doing separate courses? if that all makes sense!

Reply Hi Shannon

Okay, you’ve got a basic qualification, NVQ level 2, which is really good. Now if you would like to open an advanced beauty clinic, my advice is that you do your NVQ Beauty Therapy level 3, the full qualification, then move on to the NVQ level 4.

And that will allow you to do everything from A-Z in beauty. And then you can add-on treatments, micro-needling, chemical peels, but you will have to have a level 4 qualification as well.

If you’re looking to open an advanced beauty clinic, CoLaz offers a franchise package, which we help you to set up. If you’re interested I can send you more information on that.

But my personal advice is don’t do the courses separately, because they don’t hold any merit, and you’re better off doing an NVQ level 3 and a level 4 as well.

I Have An Uncompleted NVQ 3 Beauty Qualification.. Can you help?

Hi,

I have an uncompleted nvq 3 qualification.. Can you help me complete this? id also like go on too study an nvq 4 qualification.

Reply Hi Michelle

In regards to your level 3 qualification, my advice is if you book yourself a consultation with the course tutor and bring in your folder and bring in your logbook or whatever you’ve completed and bring that in.

The tutor will have a look at it and discuss what you’ve studied and what we can do if we feel that you’ve covered everything in your level 3, we can act like an assessment center for you, where we’ll do your assessments for you and mark them off as competent and help you finish the portfolio off.

But I can’t really give you the answer by an email, so my personal advice is please book yourself a consultation, bring everything with you and then we can take it from there.

Once you’ve finished your level 3 you can move on to doing the NVQ level 4 qualifications, and we always guarantee at the end of the course you would have finished your work and be completed on time. The course tutor will always provide support and help you through everything.

So if you arrange a consultation, just ask the receptionist to book you in a consultation with one of the course tutors.

I hope that helps

Beauty Course Near Liverpool Laser Training

by abbie walker
(liverpool uk)

Hi, im 21 years old and a stay at home mum. I have been researching and i am really interested in doing the nvq level 3 and then 4 to successfully open my own business. I was just wondering what my options would be, i am from Liverpool and live here with my 1 year old daughter, would this course suit me as it would be located far from home. if i could come once a week, would i have to get train every week? just thinking that could end up costing me a fortune along with the course fees :(

Reply Dear Abbie

It is fantastic news that you would like to do level 3 and level 4 laser as these courses cover popular treatments which are carried out in salons all over.

I am aware you would like to open your own salon which is great as we are now giving all our students information and talks on how to run a successful business.

In regards to travel the nearest location to you will be Birmingham, and coming down one day a week will allow you to give time to your daughter as well as studying.

We can also tailor make a course especially for you, there will be additional cost but this will allow you to finish much sooner.
